Apollo 11 Lunar Hasselblad Blueprint, Edition of 150
Apollo 11 Lunar Hasselblad Blueprint, Edition of 150
These blueprints are the most accurate representation of what Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took to the surface of the moon, drawn from measurements of one of the 100 cameras made for NASA in 1968, and the child of an insane amount of research that was required to faithfully replicate the Apollo 11 camera. The camera body still resides on the moon right where Neil left, likely on a portion of the decent stage next to the ladder, so it was a multi-year effort to solve little mysteries like the camera's serial number, and whether or not it had the attached Polarizing filter on the lens when it was used on the surface.
Six years of obsession made these blueprints possible.
